I’ve been checking up on Acne Studios’ website for eyewear since its mysterious disappearance about a year or two ago. It’s been a strange gap, both in the market and physically on the website, since eyewear is often a cheaper option compared to apparel and the chances of us wearing (should we be fortunate enough to live in a place where the sun shines, cough cough, not UK) would be higher, meaning better cost per wear ratio, more consumers.

Loewe FW15 Collection Preview w/ Jonathan Anderson at Joyce Hong Kong
It took a good, solid 20 minutes to queue up and meet Jonathan, a.k.a J.W.Anderson, the creative director of Spanish luxury brand Loewe. The event took place after working time on a Thursday evening and, knowing that it will be packed, I arrived early. After fighting my way through the sea of press and cameras, I said a quick hi to Jonathan and was slightly saddened by the fact there wasn't enough time to digest the inspiration of the collection first hand from the designer himself, but was quickly introduced to a representative.
